Lesson 1: More Delivery Tools

This lesson explains how to modify a presentation to show to different audiences, practice giving a presentation and set slide timings, work with speaker notes and handouts, and package a presentation to show someplace else:

• Adapting a Presentation for Different Audiences
• Rehearsing a Presentation
• Preparing Speaker Notes and Handouts
• Preparing a Presentation for Travel

Lab : More Delivery Tools:

• Create a custom slide show, and hide a slide
• Apply equal slide timings; then rehearse the presentation, and apply custom timings
• Enter text, graphics, and tables in notes; and print notes and handouts
• Create a presentation package on a CD

Lesson 2: Custom PowerPoint

This lesson explains how to set up the PowerPoint window to make commands readily available.

• Changing Default Presentation Options
• Making Favorite PowerPoint Commands Easily Accessible
• Making Commands Available with a Specific Presentation

Lab : Custom PowerPoint:

• Explore options in the PowerPoint Options window
• Add a button to the Quick Access Toolbar
• Add and remove a button from a presentation-specific Quick Access Toolbar.

Getting Certified

You may wish to consider the following MCAS certification associated with Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007:

• Microsoft Certified Application Specialist: Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007

To gain this certification students must pass Exam 77-603: MCAS: Using Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007.

Successful candidates for this exam have the equivalent of six months to one year of hands-on experience creating business deliverables with Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 and might have experience with previous versions of Microsoft Office PowerPoint. These candidates are especially effective and efficient at creating and formatting presentation masters and templates, creating and formatting slide content, working with dynamic visual content, and collaborating on and delivering presentations.
